By Lyes Hammadouche (2014)
83 x 83 x 12 cm, three mecanisms with sand, water, glass, birch, bearings. Three circles spin on themselves. They are filled with water as well and black sand and white sand. The first one needs a minute to turn completely on itself – the second one, an hour and the third one, a whole day. The sand seems like quicksand which changes appearances depending on the rhythm of the circle’s movement.
