Designed in collaboration with the duo Trapier-Duporté as part of the Pulsar, the Open art prize, “Lucioles, le sale quart d’heure” consists of several metal poles scattered throughout the exhibition space. A lighting device is located at the top of each of these masts and rotates on itself indefinitely. In search of spectators, it stops as soon as it detects one and dazzles it with an intense light. Spread out in the exhibition space, the installation marks out the visit of the public. It encourages the public to flee the blinding light and to modify their wanderings.
