Ma tête est ensanglantée mais insoumise is an experimental piece. It displays a disordered, apparently incoherent “behavior”, as if the robot had come alive under the influence of drugs or alcohol. The goal of the project is to recreate issues of communication between information collection and sensor system and motor responses. The system’s internal logic is demonstrated by the balance of tensions in the room, even though we can sense abnormality which suggests that our criteria for understanding “self-control” are extremely normative.
