Research & creation workshop under the direction of Dominique Cunin (EnsadLab / Reflective Interaction) at la Gaîté Lyrique, Paris.
December 20, 21 and 22, 2017
The immersive 360° video-mapping is linked with a collective interactivity device using mobile screens. An indoor geolocation technology adds to this set, making it possible to locate mobile users in a given space and to link, through interaction, mobile screens and video projection: what actions, collectively performed, for what reactions in the immersive image? A starting script is provided as a basis for reflection and design with the participants: each mobile screen “projects” a line onto the walls, like a one-dimensional laser level. This line could be a border, a pointer, a scanner. The scenarios (ideally two) that will be proposed and developed during the workshop will raise aesthetic questions about the notions of monitoring and designation in such technological devices: mapping, tracking, scanning, pointing… What metaphor for what collective thinking and shared action on a common environment?
